Let them have their say

When it comes to your website, whether you provide a service or have an ecommerce website, you should be allowing your customers to have their say.  If you want to boost your conversion rate then there are many reasons why reviews, ratings and testimonials will really transform your business.

Here are just a few of the reason why you should let your customers have their say:

Trust

Ratings and reviews add a level of trust.  Whether it is a product or a service you should encourage your users to write a review. Whether people have had a good or bad experience, you should let them write what they thought.  This will show your users that you are confident in what you offer and that you are completely transparent.

Ratings

Ratings can be a great visual tool on the site.  By using something like stars, you will be able to show your customers straight away what others thought of the product or service. This will encourage them to make a decision and could even speed up the overall process.

Feedback

Reviews will also highlight what is working in terms of your products and services, and what isn’t.  If you get bad reviews for a particular product it may highlight that this is something you should discontinue.  It also shows you where you may need to improve.

Testify

Encourage your clients to share their experiences.  Add this to your website and let your clients do the talking.  Adding testimonials shows the range and depth of your clients and also shows your clients were happy with the service you provided.

Negativity

Don’t be tempted to delete all the negative reviews.  You can even turn these into positive ones.  Deal with the feedback straight away.  That way you may turn a disappointed customer into a loyal one.  After their feedback has been dealt with, encourage them to say how they feel it has been rectified. People are more likely to spread the word, in a good way, even if they have had a negative experience which has then been changed into  a positive.

Don’t underestimate the power of feedback, ratings and reviews.  Let your customers have their say and utilise it in the best way possible.
