The Didsbury Traders Association: Investing in your local community
Although we are a national generator of legal enquiries, we are still passionate about supporting local business.
On Monday 14 October, mmadigital officially became a member of the Didsbury Traders Association, a local forum for businesses in the area of Didsbury, South Manchester – where our HQ is – to work together to improve the community and tackle important issues. The association is open to all local business regardless of size and scope, who are willing to engage with the community and ‘share their voice to create real lasting change’.
As a volunteer association; “Our goal is simply to make Didsbury the best it can be to work and live. We represent the voice of local businesses of all shapes and sizes, dealing with far-reaching issues as a unified whole. Together we have a much larger influence when dealing with questions relating to the future of Didsbury” (Didsbury Traders Association 2019).
As a new member, mmadigital will be attending monthly meetings to aid in the community’s growth and upcoming local events such as the ‘Christmas switch on’. Members of staff will be giving up free time to get involved and share ideas to help mould the future of the local community. We are looking forward to attending our first meeting in November and getting involved to help improve Didsbury, the home-base of mmadigital.
Investing and supporting your local community is a great way to give back to those who have helped and supported your business. Not only is it an excellent way to promote your business but it could open up further opportunities to network, collaborate and increase new business.
