We talk a lot about mobile responsive web design and video here at mmadigital.  We tell you how great they are for your business, for your brand and for your online visibility.  But this time round we thought we would share some hard-hitting facts with you.

Video also helps to boost your Google rankings.  You are 50 times more likely to be on the front page of Google if you have a video.  And, with YouTube being the worlds second largest search engine, and one that is owned by Google, you really should be using it.

With the arrival of pause and fast forward for TV, consumers are actually finding online video 38% more memorable than TV ads.  And video now accounts for 50% of all mobile traffic, which leads us nicely to our next point…

So, when it comes to mobile the stats also speak for themselves.  We may hammer it home all the time, but it is only because we are so passionate about it!

Around 74% of users state that they will bounce if they have to wait 5 seconds or more for a mobile site to load.  Not long, hey? Shocked? Well, give it a try.  Head to your site and see how long it takes for your website to load.

Having a mobile version of your site essentially means that the content is designed to fit your specific screen,  whether that be a tablet or a smartphone.  Having mobile search means that your users are more likely to take action, make contact and to make a purchase.  This is because there is less content, images load quicker, call to actions are more precise and it is specifically designed for this purpose.

With 87% of the worlds population using mobiles it actually equates to 5.7 billion out of the 7 billion people in the world.  Mobile usage is ever increasing and 77% is search.

All of these figures speak for themsleves.  So, if you want to really give your website more visibility you should definitely be investing in a mobile responsive site and an epic video.
