mmadigital launch charity initiative, mmagiveback

February 1, 2013 11:44 am

After a lot of conversation about various charity projects our team are involved with over the course of this year, we have decided to launch our own charity initiative. Today is the day we launch mmagiveback. mmagiveback is our way of, well, giving back. And to start this charitable arm of our business we have partnered with a truly fantastic charity. CoppaFeel! is the brainwave of one very inspiring lady indeed. Kristin Hallenga is the power force behind this fantastic charity. Having been diagnosed with breast cancer in her early twenties Kris went through months of treatment, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy. To be diagnosed at such a young age is beyond comprehension and could easily have thrown Kris into a dark and horrible place. But rather than wallowing, Kris turned her experience into what is now known as CoppaFeel! The breast cancer charity that urges you to, well, CoppaFeel! Their…

Here at mmadigital, we build a fantastic range of PPC campaigns with a number of bespoke designs to attract leads. Below are three top tips to consider when it comes to crafting the ideal page : 1) Make sure your contact form and contact details are prominent on the page. A bright coloured form which jumps off the page will automatically draw attention, clear and concise fields will help encourage interaction and location above the fold will mean it won’t to be missed by potential clients. 2) Make it snappy. Make sure that your headings, text and images shout…

Are our high streets in demise?

January 24, 2013 3:25 pm

With this week seeing both HMV and Blockbusters enter administration I started to wonder what this means for our high streets, the way we are consuming and purchasing goods and the effects that online shopping has. Years ago the only way you could buy a record, rent a film or buy your clothes was to physically go to your local high street, hand over your money to a member of staff and leave with your new items. There was something conscious and social about this process. However, with the internet, online shopping and social media, we can now rent and download films and music from home, have our food delivered and purchase our clothes to arrive at our front door. Due to the downloading industry it has meant that, despite all attempts to push the gaming industry through their stores, there is simply not enough demand for these kind of…

mma predicts…

1:33 pm

With the new year finally here it is time we shared our digital predictions for 2013. 2012 saw many brands focus on mobile and social. These were definitely dominant fields throughout last year. And, with the London 2012 Olympic Games we saw a real emphasis on the power of social media. So, here are our top three predictions for 2013. Looking beyond the ‘likes’ When it comes to social media we believe that it is time to look beyond the ‘likes’. Having 50,000 likes but not engaging with one single customer is a bad move. This year we predict that much more emphasis will be placed on engagement in social media. You may have only a few hundred Twitter followers but it is…
