Legal firms – are you dominating your web search?

It appears that only eight personal injury brands are currently dominating web searches of potential clients.  This has also highlighted the fact that social media is being left behind when it comes to legal services. A recent study by digital marketing agency, Stickyeyes, has shown that 56% of personal injury searches during 2011 included brand names, but a leading eight personal injury firms actually accounted for 80% of these. This means that these eight companies were monopolising the search market due to the fact that other law firms were not utilising SEO or social media in an effective way.  These main firms were Accident Advice Helpline, Irwin Mitchell, National Accident Helpline, Claims Direct, Thompsons Law, Pannone, Fentons and Injurylawyers4u.  The most popular search term was ‘personal injury claims’ at around 30% with ‘road traffic accidents’ taking up 25%.
